My Latest Hydrangea Book
I am VERY happy to report my latest hydrangea book is about to be released!
Heavenly Hydrangeas: A Practical Guide for the Home Gardener is the book I wanted to find over 20 years ago when
I first became interested in learning everything about hydrangeas. This is a combination of how-to book and photo essays.
All the basics are in the book: color; pruning; choosing the right plants; planting and transplanting advice; drying, hydrangeas
as cut flowers; how to make a hydrangea wreath, etc. I did everything I could to make this book helpful for the home gardener.
Each chapter deals with a single topic (like flower color). The text is supplemented with photos throughout. There is an index,
a list of places to see great collections of hydrangeas, and an appendix with frequenly asked questions. So, if you want to
learn more about hydrangeas, I think you need this book. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Paniculata Season
The mopheads are fading into their
beautiful antique colors but, oh! the paniculatas are really making their presence felt! I was driving along Route 6A in Brewster
yesterday and had to stop to take pictures of a fabulous display of 'Limelight' paniculatas edging the parking lot of the

Book Signing at Yellow Umbrella Books
I had a delightful time at Yellow Umbrella Books in Chatham yesterday where I signed
copies of my book, Hydrangeas: Cape Cod and the Islands. I always love meeting and talking with people who share
a love of hydrangeas.

New Hydrangea Book
I am delighted to announce the release of my new book, Hydrangeas: Cape Cod and the
Islands, now available in bookstores. The book has over 340 color photos which show hydrangeas in a wide range of settings
on Cape Cod, Nantucket, and Martha's Vineyard. It was a pleasure to take the pictures and is now a delight to see the great
